The South Costa Blanca is now recognised as a truly world class golfing destination, alongside its existing reputation for relaxing and varied holidays throughout the year.

There are numerous high quality golf courses in the area, which has a beautiful climate, both in winter and summer, with an average of over 300 sunny days per year, and average winter temperatures of 16 or 17°C.

There are 5 excellent courses within the immediate vicinity of Torrevieja, enough to suit and satisfy the needs of the casual player or hard enough to test the skills of the low handicapped.

They are Club de Golf Villamartin, Club de Golf Las Ramblas de Orihuela, Real Club de Golf Campoamor, ( all within 3 kms of each other ),
La Finca and La Marquesa.

The Club de Golf Villamartin is an 18 hole course in the Villamartin area of the Orihuela Costa. It was first built in 1972, and was the host for the European Tour 1994. Here you will find an 18 Hole, Par 72 course at 6037 metres.

There are Professional / Men / Ladies Tees plus a driving range. During February to March and October to November, you may find it hard to find a free start time as it's a very popular course. 18 holes must be completed in 4 hours 20 minutes maximum. HCP Certificate required.

Tip for First Time Players Take plenty of balls, you'll need them.  HCP certificate required.

The course is hilly with ravines, which can be up to 30 metres deep, and water hazards making the course totally different from all the others. The course is protected from the wind by many trees, with some to be found on several fairways. Las Ramblas is certainly different and you will either love it or hate it.

There is a magnificent clubhouse on the highest part of the estate, where you will find a cafe, bar and restaurant, plus luxurious social lounges, open terraces, golf and other shops.

Green fees are particularly good value and group reductions are available. There are Professional / Men / Ladies Tees. Note: If you want to hire clubs you have to produce your handicap certificate.

Located between Los Montesinos and Algorfa, an impressive entrance with a water fountain marks the way to this fabulous golf course.

La Finca Algorfa located about 10 km north west of Torrevieja on the overlooking Algorfa.
The course was officially opened in August 2002 by the owner, Sr. Pedrero. It was designed by Sr. Jose Gancedo.
The course boasts a magnificent restaurant at reasonable prices and also has a tapas and drinks bar. Open from 9 am to 10 pm.

At 6,394 metres, La Finca golf course is THE course on the Costa Blanca to play. On the 5th you must hit the ball onto an island green and 17th is protected by a large lake.

La Marquesa Golf & Country Club, located on the north side of Cuidad Quesada, has a wonderful natural setting along the bottom of 3 valleys over looked by residential property. The Club house is central to the valleys and provides a main focal point.

Designed for elite competition, the 18 hole course is divided into three sections, with water coming into play on the 4th, 9th and 17th holes
